Admission:

Admission to CGS is extremely competitive. All candidates are required to complete an admission form and sit for an admission test and interview.
The most common points of entry are at Playgroup or for ‘A’ levels.

Playgroup admission: Most students enter Playgroup at the age or 3+ on September 1st of the year of entry.

A Level admission:
Students wishing to enter for the A Level programme must achieve ‘O’ Level grades of 5 B’s or better, including English and Mathematics.

Admission to other classes: Spaces are severely limited for other classes, conditional to the number of students transferring out of a particular class, usually not more than 3 – 4 each year. All students on the waiting list are invited to sit for an admission test to compete for the available seats.

Procedure for admission: Admission forms may be collected from the school office, completed and returned in the months preceding the year in which admission is sought. Once the completed form is returned you will be placed on a waiting list. You will then be called for an admission test and interview, depending on vacancies. The earlier an application form is submitted the higher you will be on the waiting list. Forms are usually circulated in February each year. Alternatively you may print and complete the form below and bring it to any one of the school offices.
